The language of Karbala becomes dangerous when it is used only to condemn an opponent. Its first work is inward: exposing fear, vanity, comfort, and indifference within ourselves.

Moral clarity without humility quickly becomes self-righteousness.

The evidence of a life

To stand with Imam Husayn (AS) now is to build a life in which conscience is not for sale. It is to serve without needing to be seen and to resist injustice without becoming unjust.

The answer is written slowly, through worship, conduct, courage, and care.
